Refund Policy

Last updated: DRAFT, 21 October 2026

Draft: not yet approved

This text is a draft for J&M Productions LTD (or its lawyer) to read and sign off. It is not in force until this box is removed. Points to check:

  1. The 14-day Premium refund: this draft gives a full refund on request within 14 days of subscribing, which is right while checkout collects no consent to start at once. If the lawyer picks option A or B (LEGAL_DRAFT_SUBSCRIPTIONS.md section 3) and the consent box is built, this section changes with it.
  2. The yearly-renewal rule (a refund within 14 days of a yearly renewal you did not mean, if Premium was not used since): a goodwill rule, which the 2024 Act may make a duty. Keep, change or remove it.
  3. Licence keys: the 14-day window and the rule that an activated key is not refunded on a change of mind (carried over from today's policy).
  4. Stripe settings behind these promises: cancel at the end of the period, and cancel the subscription when every retry of a failed payment fails.

Plain English: if something does not work, or you change your mind about Premium within 14 days, email us and we will sort it out. Refunds go back to your card through Stripe.

1. Licence keys

A licence key is delivered at once, on screen and by email. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying it if:

  • the app does not work on your system although it meets the published requirements, and we cannot fix it;
  • you have not activated the key on any device; or
  • there is a technical problem we cannot solve.

Refunds are not normally given after 14 days, or for a change of mind once the key is activated on a device. A refunded key is revoked and cannot be activated again.

2. PixelBlocker+ Premium (subscription)

  • Your first 14 days. You can cancel within 14 days of subscribing for a full refund.
  • After 14 days. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Premium stays on until the end of the period you already paid for; we do not refund the rest of that period.
  • A yearly renewal you did not mean. Email us within 14 days of the renewal date. If you have not used Premium since the renewal, we refund it in full.
  • Charged twice. If your account was charged for two subscriptions, we refund the second in full.
  • Premium does not work. If Premium does not work on a system that meets the requirements and we cannot fix it, we refund the current period.
  • What a refund does. A refund ends Premium on your account and cancels the subscription, so you are not charged again.

3. How to ask

Email support@pixelblockerplus.com, or open a ticket in our Discord. Please include the email you paid with, the date of the payment, your licence key (or its first 6 characters) if it is about a key, and what went wrong. We aim to answer within 2 working days.

4. How the refund reaches you

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. They usually appear within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank: we can usually help faster. A dispute ends Premium on the account and cancels the subscription.

6. PixelBlocker+ Dom

The Dom app is free and needs no licence, so there is nothing to refund.

7. Your statutory rights

This policy does not affect your rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Purchases made under the GoonerLock name, before the change of name, keep any better terms of the policy in force when you bought.
